Building on more than 25 years of experience as a CEO of arts councils and cultural organizations, Ramona A. Baker provides consulting services to support arts organizations and nonprofit management professionals across the United States as they plan for and navigate operational, strategic, and financial challenges.
From Strategic Planning to Board Development to the Executive Search process, Ramona works to ensure that organizations can not only meet the challenges of today but plan for the successes of tomorrow.
Building strong, productive, and resilient organizations requires that leadership, board, and staff members work together as a team. Ramona works collaboratively to ensure that the organization’s mission and goals are clearly articulated, reflected in its structure and strategies, and communicated to its various audiences.
Ramona is also a frequent speaker and facilitator, and has lectured in colleges and communities throughout the U.S. as well as in China, Russia, Australia, and Northern Ireland. She is the author of several articles and monographs that address a range of topics from nonprofit arts leadership to public funding for the arts. In addition to her consulting practice, Ramona serves as the Director of the Master of Arts in Arts Administration Program (MAAA) at Goucher College.
